Amid my vast amounts of procrastionation, I have somehow found myself starting on a set of character pencil sketches from Harry Potter, and I thought I might as well shove the first few up here. They're quite small and rough, and probably only actually about six centimetres tall, which you can't tell here. For some reason, I am finding Harry impossible to get right - he doesn't look anything like any version of him that I could extrapolate from anything, really. But I'm moderately happy with the Draco, Hermione, and Pansy which are all I have finished so far. Hermione looks a little odd, and also rather downcast (which is funny, because I started with the intention of getting her smiling), Draco looks stretched, and Pansy looks a bit out of proportion. But in general, I'm fairly pleased.

I have been terribly neglectful of LiveJournal lately. Somewhere in the last five months my life has exploded into even more busyness than ever before, and this is from someone who has always done a lot of stuff. My hd-remix is almost finished now (which is still late. Yes, I know), so I should get that sent off in the next few days. And then I just have all those other things to deal with. It's not as though I have to give a presentation tomorrow that I haven't written yet. *sweats nervously*

So after I checked the comm about ten times today, the reveals at [livejournal.com profile] hd_erised were posted.

I received a wonderful fic from [livejournal.com profile] potteresque_ire, Kissed, which I highly recommend to everyone, because it was wonderful and a great gift.

I also wrote Lose Not A Chance To Waken Love for [livejournal.com profile] persephoneapple, which was great fun to write. It features humour, snark, strangely coloured liqueurs, and chickens.

EDIT: There appears to be some very dodgy formatting in this post, for which I do apologise, but am far too tired to fix right now... Sorry.

So I know the reveals have been up for a while, but as I have only just been able to get an internet connection, I thought I might as well claim my fic.

I wrote Cell Block, which was for a prompt by the lovely [livejournal.com profile] carowren.

I was amazed by the positive response, so thank you to everyone who has already read and commented on it :)

Title: How Not to Write a Sex Scene
Author: [livejournal.com profile] obliviateamores
Rating: NC-17
Summary: Draco’s leather pants are rather enticing. A badfic parody.
Word Count: ~1000 words
Notes: For the birthday of the most excellent [livejournal.com profile] turtleinatardis. I promise I can actually write. This is, I reinforce, a parody. Epithets are to be used only by the great Homer, clichés should be avoided, men calling each other baby is frankly disturbing, and no metaphors for cock should ever be used. Seriously.

[livejournal.com profile] turtleinatardis, here is the fandom part of your birthday present. I hope the humour appeals.

Title: Swordplay, Chapter 1
Authors:[livejournal.com profile] obliviateamores, [livejournal.com profile] turtleinatardis
Rating: PG-15
Word Count: ~3000 words
Summary: Somehow, Draco Malfoy ends up teaching fencing to the rest of the Eighth Years.
No, he doesn't know why either.
This is a Pureblood Sport! The Muggles just borrowed it!
And it means a lot of innuendo... (Seriously, the whole point is thrusting at people with swords, what do you expect?)
